Janet Leigh was born July 1927 in Merced in California and died October 2004. Her most well-known character was the one of Marion Crane in the 1960 film Psycho. Leigh was awarded an award called a Golden Globe Award in 1961 for Best Supporting Actress in Psycho and was nominated for an Academy Award for the same role. She was awarded a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame 1777 Vine Street in 1960. She was married four times and was even married to Tony Curtis. Her children were Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. She also appeared on numerous TV shows as well as the author of four books. Janet Leigh, 77, passed away from vasculitis on the 3, 2004.
